Job Description
We are seeking a professional and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our Ballwin, United States location (14764 Clayton Rd). In this role, you will support the management of daily operations, lead and develop team members, and ensure exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, operational expertise, and a commitment to driving organizational success through efficient processes and motivated staff.
- Supervise and manage daily operations, ensuring all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards
- Lead, train, and mentor team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and career development
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
- Manage inventory, resources, and supplies to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
- Maintain professional communication with customers, clients, and internal stakeholders to build strong relationships
- Prepare and submit accurate reports on operational performance, staffing, and financial metrics
- Address and resolve customer complaints and employee concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and performance management of team members
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements
- Support the Store Manager or General Manager in achieving organizational goals and objectives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a retail, operations, or customer service environment
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills
- Customer service excellence and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong analytical skills to interpret operational data and drive performance improvements
- Conflict resolution and performance management experience
- Ability to maintain professional composure in fast-paced environments
