Domino's Pizza in Diamond, United States is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at our 2255 E Division St location. As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a vital role in driving the success of our store operations while delivering exceptional customer experiences. - Efficiently manage and oversee daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards
- Lead, motivate, and mentor team members to maintain high standards of customer service and operational performance
- Handle cash transactions, manage financial aspects of store operations, and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Interact professionally with customers, addressing inquiries with empathy and resolving issues transparently and promptly
- Answer phone calls and process customer orders accurately while maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment that complies with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with the store manager to implement company policies, procedures, and performance initiatives
- Train and onboard new team members on store operations, customer service standards, and company expectations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality control measures to maintain product excellence
- Analyze store performance metrics and contribute to achieving sales targets and operational goals
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing situations and peak business periods
- Foster an inclusive and supportive team culture that encourages open communication and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate team members
- Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly, positive, and empathetic attitude
- Proficiency in basic math and strong problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a high-volume setting
- Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer skills for operating point-of-sale systems and other store technology
- Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient store operations
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Experience with cash handling and financial management in a retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop team members
- Knowledge of food safety compliance and quality control standards
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills with a transparent and assertive approach
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in the pizza industry or food service sector (a plus)
