Job Description
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team at our Overland, United States location (9511 Lackland Rd). As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, bringing exceptional service directly to our customers' doors. This is an excellent opportunity to work independently while being part of a supportive team that values efficiency, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. - Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes throughout the Overland area
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service to all customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and represent our organization positively at every stop
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
- Handle products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding any delays, issues, or customer concerns
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and cargo area
- Build positive relationships with customers and handle inquiries or concerns with empathy and professionalism
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history
- Must possess access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery goals consistently
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and responsibility for vehicle upkeep
- Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and delivery schedules
- Reliable transportation and commitment to punctuality
- Willingness to pass a criminal background check
- A positive attitude and genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service
