We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our McComb, United States location (1515 Delaware Ave). In this role, you'll be the face of our organization, ensuring packages and products reach our customers safely, on time, and in excellent condition. - Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver packages and products to designated addresses within McComb and surrounding regions
- Navigate diverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and various weather conditions, while maintaining professional composure and safety standards
- Read maps and utilize navigational tools to locate addresses accurately and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure the delivery vehicle remains in safe, roadworthy condition
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and performance targets while maintaining a flexible, adaptable approach to route changes
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns with empathy and transparency
- Organize and secure packages appropriately during transport to prevent damage and loss
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate proactively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and vehicle operation standards
- Demonstrate resilience and problem-solving skills when facing challenging delivery situations or adverse conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle approved for commercial delivery use
- Proven navigational skills with the ability to read maps and locate addresses accurately
- Strong time management and organizational abilities to meet delivery schedules consistently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Physical capability to handle package loading, unloading, and delivery tasks
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous roles
- Ability to navigate multi-story buildings and adverse terrain safely
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and awareness
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing routes and delivery priorities
- Valid proof of insurance for personal vehicle use in delivery operations
- Willingness to work collaboratively with dispatch and team members
