Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our Olivette, United States location. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the store's overall success.
- Manage and supervise staff during assigned shifts, setting a positive example for the team
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and food safety standards
- Oversee cash handling, inventory management, and cost control measures
- Schedule and coordinate staff to maintain optimal coverage and efficiency
- Train and develop team members to meet performance standards and company goals
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist in implementing marketing initiatives and promotions
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve store profitability targets
- Prepare and submit accurate reports and paperwork as required
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in food service or retail management preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in cash handling, inventory management, and cost control
- Ability to create and manage staff schedules effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards; certification preferred
- Proficient computer skills for order processing and inventory management
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Positive attitude and ability to motivate team members
