Job Description

We are seeking a professional and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our Centralia location (320 South Elm Street). In this role, you will support the management team in overseeing daily operations, leading staff, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency while fostering a supportive and productive work environment for all team members.

  • Supervise and support daily operations, ensuring all team members adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Lead, train, and mentor staff members to achieve performance goals and maintain high service standards
  • Assist in scheduling, staffing decisions, and performance management activities
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and ordering processes to maintain operational efficiency
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to operations and staff performance
  • Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Support the development and execution of store or department initiatives and promotions
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure alignment on goals and expectations

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and scheduling systems
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Customer service excellence and commitment to service quality standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
