Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Delivery Expert to join our team at our Ballwin, United States location (14764 Clayton Rd). In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing delivery operations to ensure timely, accurate, and professional service to our customers. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate and manage daily delivery schedules, routes, and logistics to optimize efficiency and minimize delivery times
- Monitor delivery performance metrics and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery status, timelines, and any potential issues or delays
- Troubleshoot delivery-related problems and implement effective solutions to maintain service quality
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation, tracking information, and customer confirmations
- Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery operations
- Utilize delivery management software and GPS tracking systems to monitor fleet performance and driver activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and delivery standards
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery-related concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Prepare reports on delivery metrics, performance trends, and recommendations for operational enhancements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivery operations, logistics coordination, or supply chain management
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency with delivery management software, GPS tracking systems, and inventory management platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Knowledge of route optimization and logistics best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
- Familiarity with fleet management and delivery performance metrics
- Preferred: Experience with supply chain operations or warehouse management systems
