Job Description
We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Jeffersontown location (3830 Ruckriegal Pkwy Suite 101). As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality products and exceptional service directly to our customers' doors. - Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers throughout assigned routes in a timely and efficient manner
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS technology and route optimization tools to maximize delivery efficiency
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with all customers, ensuring positive interactions and building customer loyalty
- Verify delivery addresses, collect payments when applicable, and maintain accurate delivery records
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe, roadworthy condition
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concerns
- Handle products with care to ensure they arrive in excellent condition
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices
- Resolve customer inquiries or concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary
- Meet daily delivery targets and performance goals while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving history
- Pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to navigate routes efficiently and manage multiple deliveries
- Reliable and punctual with a strong attendance record
- Positive attitude and genuine passion for customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and ability to perform minor troubleshooting
- Comfortable using GPS and mobile technology for route navigation and delivery tracking
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages safely
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check
