We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in HILLS DALES, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers while representing our company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport orders to customers' locations
- Navigate efficiently through various routes using GPS technology and local knowledge
- Verify customer orders for accuracy before leaving the store
- Process payments and handle cash transactions when required
- Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns professionally
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, insured vehicle suitable for deliveries
- Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Proficiency in using smartphones and order entry systems
- Ability to read maps and locate addresses efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous delivery or customer service experience (preferred)
