Job Description
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team in Taylorville, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers with every stop. - Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers within assigned routes and territories
- Navigate efficiently using GPS technology and route planning to optimize delivery schedules and minimize travel time
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns with a friendly demeanor
- Verify delivery addresses, collect payments when applicable, and maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Inspect vehicle condition daily, perform routine maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Handle packages and products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and compliant operations
- Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery operations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and mobile technology
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and load packages safely
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices
- Willingness to pass a criminal background check
