Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at our 425 N. Western Ave. location in Peoria, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, leading staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Manage and supervise staff during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Oversee store operations, including inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized environment
- Interact with customers, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction
- Answer phones and process orders efficiently
- Assist in training and developing team members
- Implement and maintain company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve store goals and improve performance
- Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling and reporting
- Assist with lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail or food service environment
- Strong math and problem-solving skills for effective money management and decision-making
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in multitasking and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management
- Familiarity with the Peoria area and local customer preferences is a plus
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
