Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager at our Saint Charles location on 2181 Droste Rd! We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented leader who is passionate about driving operational excellence and fostering a positive team environment. In this pivotal role, you'll partner with our General Manager to oversee daily operations, mentor team members, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. - Lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of employees, creating a collaborative and inclusive work environment where everyone can thrive
- Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and facility maintenance
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing customer concerns promptly, professionally, and with empathy
- Train and develop new team members, providing constructive feedback and supporting their career growth
- Collaborate with the General Manager to analyze performance metrics, implement strategic improvements, and achieve organizational goals
- Manage cash handling, financial reporting, and reconciliation responsibilities with accuracy and transparency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment that reflects our commitment to excellence
- Adapt flexibly to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a dynamic setting
- Demonstrate analytical thinking to solve problems decisively and implement effective solutions
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse team members and customers
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills
- Demonstrated customer service orientation with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional experiences
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Experience with inventory management and financial reconciliation
- Knowledge of compliance, safety standards, and best practices in operations
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and remain resilient under pressure
- Strong training and development capabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in food service, retail management, or similar operational roles (preferred)
