Job Description
Wage range is $15-25/ hr with your hourly wage plus tips earned.
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in North Oaks, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers in the North Oaks area and surrounding regions.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures
- Provide excellent customer service during package drop-offs
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Promptly report any issues or delays to the dispatch team
- Assist with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools
- Basic smartphone skills for using delivery apps and communication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with North Oaks and surrounding areas
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be preferred for certain vehicle types
