Job Description
We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Louisville, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality products directly to our customers' doors while building lasting relationships in your community. This role offers the perfect opportunity to work independently while being part of a dynamic, supportive team that values efficiency, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes throughout the Louisville area
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and mapping technology to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery stop, ensuring a positive brand experience
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Handle cash and card transactions securely and accurately
- Organize and load delivery vehicles in a systematic manner to ensure product quality and safe transport
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route updates, delays, or customer concerns
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating a vehicle
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company-specific standards
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and Motor Vehicle Record verification
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic smartphone technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and deliver products weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professional work ethic
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as business demands
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service
- Preferred: Previous delivery or customer service experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
