Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Rep to join our team in Decatur, United States. As a key member of our customer-facing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our valued clients.

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively
  • Process transactions accurately, including cash and credit card payments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
  • Provide product information and assist customers in making informed decisions
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies, products, and services
  • Document customer interactions and update records in the company's database
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work atmosphere

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Proficiency in using computers and relevant software applications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work conditions and schedules
  • Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns effectively
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. when required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus
  • Empathetic and patient when dealing with diverse customer personalities
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated on company products and policies
