Job Description
Starting wage is $15-20/hr depending on experience
We are seeking an energetic and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at our location in Cambridge, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction in our fast-paced food service environment.
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including staff supervision and customer service
- Oversee food preparation, quality control, and inventory management
- Operate and maintain all store equipment
- Process customer orders via phone and in-person, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Handle cash transactions and maintain financial records
- Coordinate deliveries and manage stock levels
- Implement and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Train and mentor team members on proper procedures and customer service techniques
- Resolve customer complaints and address any operational issues
- Support the store manager in achieving sales targets and improving overall performance
- Adapt to changing priorities and assist in various tasks as ne
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or retail management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in operating food service equipment and POS systems
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Computer literacy for order processing and inventory management
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Efficient time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Food safety certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
