Job Description
We're looking for a reliable and customer-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team in Palm Bay, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our products reach our valued customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers' homes or businesses
- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from recipients
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Process cash, check, and credit card payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be required depending on vehicle type
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing inventory
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail for accurate deliveries and record-keeping
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
