Job Description
We are seeking a professional and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our Chesterfield location on Olive Boulevard. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations, leading a team of associates, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, operational efficiency, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment while driving organizational success.
- Supervise and manage daily operations of the facility, ensuring all procedures and policies are followed consistently
- Lead, train, and mentor team members to achieve performance goals and support their professional development
- Create and manage staff schedules while optimizing labor resources and maintaining service quality
- Monitor inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and facility conditions; report discrepancies and coordinate necessary repairs
- Analyze operational metrics and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions
- Maintain open communication with team members and upper management; address concerns and resolve conflicts professionally
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local requirements
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating team member performance
- Support customer or client relations by addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail, hospitality, food service, or similar operational environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and support diverse teams
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making judgment
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, or other relevant operational tools
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive operational improvements
- Customer service excellence and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Conflict resolution and mediation skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Preferred: Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Preferred: Knowledge of inventory management systems and practices
