We are seeking an organized and efficient Assistant Manager to join our team at our 805 Salem Rd location in Mount Vernon. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the store's daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and helping to lead and develop our team members.
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring smooth functioning of all departments
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
- Support in managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise
- Help train, supervise, and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Assist in creating and implementing strategies to meet sales goals and improve store performance
- Handle cash management duties, including register operations and bank deposits
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Step in for the Store Manager in their absence, making key decisions as needed

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating positive customer experiences
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Efficient time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems
- Previous retail or customer service experience required
- Management or supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices is a plus
