We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team at our Litchfield location (401 N State St). In this pivotal role, you'll play a crucial part in driving operational excellence and fostering a positive work environment. As an Assistant Manager, you'll support store leadership by managing daily operations, leading team members, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.   • Run shifts efficiently while maintaining high operational standards and ensuring all store procedures are followed
  • Lead, motivate, and support team members through coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Manage cash handling, reconciliation, and financial transactions with accuracy and transparency
  • Interact professionally with customers and employees, resolving concerns with empathy and decisiveness
  • Answer phones, take orders, and provide outstanding customer service that exceeds expectations
  • Oversee store cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of all areas
  • Assist with scheduling, training, and onboarding of new team members
  • Analyze store performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Handle physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds regularly
  • Support inventory management and stock organization
  • Communicate clearly with management regarding operational challenges and successes

  • Proven experience in money management and cash handling

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Previous shift management or supervisory experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving experience
  • Training and development experience with team members
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Experience with scheduling and workforce planning
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data
