We're looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team in Rantoul, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages and goods to customers while maintaining the highest standards of service. As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our organization, ensuring every delivery is completed on time and with care. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction will be essential to your success in this position.
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at all scheduled stops
- Load, unload, and transport packages and goods with care to prevent damage
- Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers and address any delivery-related inquiries or concerns
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times
- Meet daily and weekly delivery targets while prioritizing customer satisfaction
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding package handling and delivery protocols
- Assist with inventory management and package sorting as needed
Calificaciones
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and basic maintenance
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet strict delivery schedules
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Physical capability to perform repetitive lifting and loading tasks
- Familiarity with delivery management software (preferred)
- Commercial driving experience (preferred)
