Job Description
Assist Warehouse Team Leaders with the coordination of team members engaged in warehouse operations in accordance with established company/industry standards and procedures. Be an active participant in the training and coaching of new/tenure team members in job duties, responsibilities, and safety. Assist the Production Department as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
(35%):
- Assist TLs in compiling daily key indicators
- Assist TLs in preparing daily warehouse statistical reports
- Maintain a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state, and federal requirements
(45%):
- Lead the warehouse team in the absence of the TL
- Assign job tasks according to shipping schedules
- Work as a warehouse team member and perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
- Manage day-to-day inventory levels with the use of a solo chain.
(20%):
- Become and maintain Forklift certification
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and training new team members
- Attend and participate in annual Leadership & Development training sessions
- Wear and follow Domino’s Pizza uniform standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience
- One year of shift lead experience with sound, effective communication skills
- Maintain forklift certification
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to work in a production/warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. on occasion
- Must be available to work during a shift, which may be scheduled anytime during a 24-hour day over any 7-day period
