Days / Hours:                          Mon – Fri / 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

 

Summary of Duties: This position is an individual contributor role with no management responsibilities. Responsible for planning, running, and delivering complex Information Technology projects on time, within budget, and with high quality. Drive collaboration with business area(s), IS, and technology vendors to ensure all project participants are effectively communicating and executing tasks as specified in project plan. Deliver creative and efficient technical solutions. Develop strategic plans for projects of high business complexity. Work with Lead eCommerce Architects to transform requirements into solutions design. Work with cross functional resources to develop and gain approval for high level delivery plans of various sized software development projects based on objectives. Ensure all steps of the Agile-based SDLC are executed, acts as the scrum master for projects/workstreams and coordinates across many cross functional project resources. Responsible for client/customer/vendor relations to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded. Monitor project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule. Monitor and report project risks and issues; conduct mitigation and resolution efforts to limit risks; and escalate as needed. Position does not have direct management or supervisory duties.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study and 5 progressive experience in the job offered defined as leading project delivery of complex enterprise application systems, distributed applications, web applications, and system integration solutions. Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study and 3 years in the job offered defined as leading project delivery of complex enterprise application systems, distributed applications, web applications, and system integration solutions in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of progressive experience.

 

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:

  1. 5 years (3 with a Master’s degree) of experience managing projects for custom-developed eCommerce software solutions using an Agile development methodology;
  2. 5 years (3 with a Master’s degree) of experience with project leadership in a deadline driven environment;
  3. playing a contributing role in full cycle software delivery as a business analyst, developer or quality assurance expert;
  4. leading software solutions design;
  5. managing projects that utilize HTML5, Java, SQL Server and Couchbase technologies;
  6. managing the integration of commercial off the shelf products into custom-developed software; and
  7. working on multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting required deadlines.

 

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
