Starting Salary: $80,000

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Investigate Employee Relations issues and promote a Positive Work Environment
  • Conduct employee relations investigations of employee complaints, document findings, analyze situation for potential liability, and forward to HR Manager or Legal as necessary
  • Conduct research for current claims to include on-site interviews, documentation retrieval, and governmental contacts as necessary
  • Investigate and respond to HR Customer Care Cases for the market 
  • Educate managers on the progressive discipline philosophy and partner with operations to recommend appropriate progressive discipline steps
  • Assess risk and proactive training/mitigation needed with HR audits  
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of all Domino’s TUSA policies and procedures and update market and team members on new company policies and HR updates

Drive Engagement and Facilitate Human Resource Education and Skills Training

  • Facilitate HR training classes/workshops (Developing Team, Employee Benefits, AM and GM onboarding, etc.), coordinate training sites and attendees, track attendance and results
  • Facilitate Assistant and General Manager HR onboarding 
  • Conduct PeopleFirst Evaluation Reports (PER) and Stay Interviews and provide recap, trends, and action planning recommendations to the DCO and HRM; consistent follow-up to ensure GM completes recommended action plan or items 
  • Assist with engagement listening sessions and action planning, and one-on-one discussions to promote a positive work environment; analyze results and provide recommendations
  • Conduct exit interviews for departing General Managers and Assistant Managers
  • Support biannual General Manager Career Inventory Survey 

Lead Store Talent Planning   

  • Report on market KPIs; GM tenure, turnover, time to start, and legal compliance and provide recommendations of trends to DCO and HRM 
  • Lead General Manager in Training (GMiT) period workforce planning and partner with MCOs on development plans 
  • Lead period succession planning for General Managers and partner with MCOs on General Manager developmental plans; identify high-potential General Managers 
  • Partner with HRM to lead market Quarterly People Reviews 

Assist with Recruiting, Onboarding, and Team Member Support

  • Conduct General Manager in Training (GMiT) interviews
  • Participate in internal and external General Manager interviews 
  • Assist team members with questions and be a resource for all HR-related questions and concerns; payroll, benefits, compensation, LOA, team member concerns, etc. 

Compliance & Administrative

  • Process team member moves and offers; promotions, demotions, terminations, offer letters, sign-on bonuses 
  • Assist with new store opening process and acquisitions
  • Partner with MCOs and Market Admin to ensure 100% legal compliance; child labor compliance, new hire legal compliance, workman’s compensation issues, HR poster compliance, wage and hour compliance, and unemployment claims as necessary, etc.
  • Respond to unemployment hearings and claims 
  • Lead random drug testing and reasonable suspicion process 
  • Attend weekly market leadership meetings 
  • Process team member leave of absence requests 
  • Plan and facilitate open enrollment and annual benefit events 
  • Conduct HR systems reviews quarterly to monitor recruitment practices, employee morale, PF poster compliance, wage and hour compliance, and involuntary termination appropriateness
  • Standardize Human Resources procedures to create consistency across all corporate markets 
  • Participate in special projects 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent experience, required
  • 3-5 years HR generalist experience required (to include recruiting, employee relations, training, compensation and benefits, HRIS administration)
  • Bilingual in Spanish  
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Outstanding motivation skills and positive attitude required
  • Experience with project and process management preferred
  • Ability to schedule, coordinate, and monitor multiple activities (“multi-tasking”) required
  • Capability with PeopleSoft, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required·      
  • Travel is required – maximum 25%
