Job Description 

Location: Domino’s World Resource Center; 30 Frank Lloyd Wright Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 (Remote Monday & Friday) 

Shift: Fulltime; Salary

The Domino’s Accounting team in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Senior Accountant that values a self starter and working independently with SOX and accounting experience. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in the International space.

(90%) Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and supplemental reports for the International Franchising operating segments

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and ensure completeness of accounting data for all Int’l business units.
  • Record period end accounting entries (e.g. accruals, adjustments, etc.)
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and certifications including key accounts such as tax equalization, deferred store opening fees, deferred development fees and growth incentives.
  • Communicate with internal customers on outstanding accounting issues, problems, or concerns
  • Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, HR, Legal on any International foreign entity items. 
  • Coordinate with other areas of both accounting and the entire home office team to appropriately reconcile and analyze account balances and activity every period

(10%) Special projects as needed

  •  Assist internal customers with analysis of financial impact on certain projects
  •  Assist financial reporting with the review of quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Assist with developing and documenting new accounting policies and procedures
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  •  Assist in testing system upgrades or newly implemented system

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3+ years of Accounting or Finance experience (Preferred 5+ years of experience)
  • Ability to analyze financial information
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills
  • Self-Motivated and able to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and database applications
  • PeopleSoft Financials, HFM and Blackline experience a plus
