Domino’s started back in 1960 as a single-store location in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Over the years, we expanded to three stores, and thus came the three dots on our logo. The original plan was to keep adding dots for every store, but at more than 19,000 stores worldwide (and more than 6,300 in the U.S. alone) … you can probably figure out why that original plan didn’t work. And we don’t have any plans of stopping any time soon.

So, how do we get food to all those stores? Well, that’s where you come in. We have more than 23 food supply and dough manufacturing centers in the U.S., and seven more across Canada, that provide fresh dough and other ingredients, to franchise and corporate owned Domino’s stores. In 2019 alone, these centers made more than 720,000 deliveries.

Job Details


(70%) Operational Improvements (EBITDA Contribution)

·       Lead Supply Chain Centers in transportation cost containment through analysis and operational improvement.

·       Ability to solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

·       Develop project plan, assign milestones and workload, and facilitate all communications of the launch with all parties.

·       Identifies and implements continual improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the position, team, and company.

·       Responsible for timely, precise and accurate company reporting.

·       Identifies and implements continual improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the position, team, and company.

·       Ability to read and interpret document such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before a group of customers or employees of organization

·       Develop and implement action plans, including project plans, schedules, financial and operational goals.

·       Identify/track actual implementation cost savings or cost avoidances.  Be able to apply root cause analysis to determine variances.

·       Provide monthly feedback on financial status of Supply Chain Center locations to management.

·       Determine operational savings through analysis of controllable expenses and key indicators.

·       Back up support for all transportation systems (Road net, Peoplenet,). This includes training, troubleshooting various issues, and providing best practices to designated centers.

·        Provide analysis on key initiatives to management.

·       Evaluate various methods of transportation to identify the lowest cost solution for delivery (private fleet, third party, or various other modes).


(10%) Supply Chain Center Systems Training

·       Responsible for Training appropriate Supply Chain Center personnel in systems, analytics, dynamic routing and reporting capabilities.

·       Assist locations with developing measurable performance improvement plans.


(10%) Special Projects

·       Participate in long-term Supply Chain departmental projects and initiatives.


(10%) Operations Support

·       Work with leadership on developing long term and short term strategic initiatives and yearly transportation budgets.

·       Provide on-the-job training to the business as needed as it relates to driving process improvements

·       Position is also responsible for mapping, documenting and updating all processes and procedures for the department.

·       Works on-site with Supply Chain Center as needed to accomplish goals.

·       Cross Functional Supply Chain Involvement, acting as back up support for Transportation Dept. in the areas of compliance and equipment.


  • B.S. degree w/emphasis on Logistics and Transportation
  • Proven leadership and project management skills
  • 5 plus years experience in distribution/transportation
  • Proven track record in Logistics & Transportation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Thorough experience with routing and onboard computer systems
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated
  • Thorough working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Routing software, onboard computer systems
  • Ability to travel to all SCC’s  - as needed (30 to 50% potential)
