This position will contribute to DPZ store growth by providing a geographic and financial analysis of new store opportunities. The specialist will prepare supporting business cases for development opportunities, will digitize store delivery and service boundaries and prepare maps for legal documents as well as for other organizational needs. Additionally, they will support our Franchise Development Consultants by assisting with market visits (up to 10% travel)

Responsibilities and Duties

(45%) Conduct Franchisee & DMA Analysis for New Store Development Opportunities and Prepare Supporting Deck

• Analyze franchisee store portfolios & DMAs for new store development opportunities and prepare supporting business cases. Key information would include: assessment of current stores sales, service, EBITDA, demographics, real estate analysis, Domino’s market share versus competition, opportunity for new stores in un-serviced territories, store realignments and relocations; and a financial analysis including costs to build, sales and EBITDA projections, and ROI/payback years.

• Collaborate with field team members (FBC, DC, Franchisee) to gather local market knowledge and ensure alignment with analysis and development plans.

• Utilize Multiple Data Sets and Analytical Tools o Tools and metrics include: PWR, P&Ls, sales and service metrics, mapping tools, real estate, demographics, Excel, sales modeling tools and reports, and key operational performance indicator information.

• Maintain accurate and consistent documentation for all projects utilizing SalesForce/ Connect • Work with Analytics & Insights team to develop tools which will assist in identifying future Development Opportunities

• Resolve problems that are not well-defined, identify and deliver the best solution.

• Provide excellent development opportunities along with analytical support for DCs and Franchisees including an optimal term sheet when appropriate.

• Maintain accurate catalog of available and awarded opportunities.

(30%) Store Delivery and Service Area Maintenance

• Maintain and update key information related to store territories.

• Provide Franchise Legal Services with necessary documentation for Development Agreements and Standard Franchise Agreements.

(15%) DPZ OLO & Legal Team Support

• Prepare legal maps for documentation supporting store relocations, purchases and SFA renewals

• Assist OLOsupport & GlobalCare with information supporting store locator issues

(10%) In Market Analysis & Support (Travel)

• Conduct field tours with key stakeholders when determining store locations

• On site store visits to assist development team as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess a positive attitude, a superior work ethic and be self motivated.
  • Must have a mastery in Microsoft office and web applications.
  • Ability to diagnose problems, identify and drive appropriate solutions.
  • Experience working on a team, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proven background in project management.
  • Travel required: Up to 10%.
  • Available home Internet.

Preferred:

  • Degree in Business, Project Management, Finance or Geospatial Analysis.
  • 1-2 Domino’s experience.
  • 1-2 years of project management experience.
  • 1-2 years of franchise relations experience.
  • 1-2 years analysis experience.
  • 1-2 years ArcGIS Pro experience.
