Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree with emphasis on instructional design or instructional technology or education related discipline; master’s degree a plus
  • Minimum of  3+ years’ experience in instructional design, instructional technology and development/tech communications
  • Expert skills in Articulate Storyline, Articulate 360 Suite, Adobe Character Animator
  • Proficient with Vyond, GoAnimate, Inc., Photoshop, Flash, HTML, Adobe Premiere, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and MS Project
  • Strong skill-set regarding video and audio production/editing
  • Ability to work with short deadlines and high stress on multiple projects
  • Ability to impart technical knowledge to a wide variety of audiences 
  • Attention to detail and structure to ensure high quality training materials 
  • Proven understanding of instructional design and learning theory 
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a larger team, balance multiple tasks/objectives and ability to handle frequently changing demands
  • High comfort level with technology and ability to quickly learn and utilize new software applications
  • Ability to effectively organize work, prioritize and manage time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Solutions in corporate training environments
Additional Information
Designs and develops training solutions, to include instructor led, web-based training, mobile learning, video, print and other creative learning as determined by Domino’s Pizza for all levels and functional areas of store operations/management, supply chain and corporate support. Work closely with subject matter experts and learners to conduct needs analysis and make performance improvement recommendations based on those needs. Applies industry best practices as well as internal standards to ensure quality and effectiveness of learning deliverables. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

(30%) Research, design, and writing
  • Recommends, designs and develops creative learning solutions that include, but are not limited to, classroom, eLearning, and blended learning solutions
  • Develops an effective instructional strategy/learning plan and design documents for each learning. solution based upon established learning objectives and the characteristics of a given target audience
  • Writes and edits storyboards, interactive/video scripts, trainers notes, and other learning documentation to include participant/leaders guides, quizzes and assessments
  • Work with clients, subject matter experts and learners to specify gaps, needs and desired outcomes
  • Design self-paced and reference-based learning experiences that improve team member performance
  • Apply principles of information design and architecture to organize information and information flow
  • Analyze curriculum needs and incorporate the findings into continuous improvement of learning experiences
  • Improves existing material by making it more concise
  • Presents ideas/concepts graphically
  • This role provides learning consulting and instructional design practices for traditional and emerging technologies
  • Previous experience collecting, compiling, analyzing and synthesizing learner/customer feedback, test data, and program evaluations to determine workforce performance needs, curriculum design/development and learning solutions
  • Ability to demonstrate an application of cognitive science and human centered design
  • Assist in assessing new and emerging technologies, instructional design theories, and approaches and policies for potential application to instructional opportunities
(40%) Authoring
  • Authors instructor lead, eLearning and mobile learning using an array of authoring tools (Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, Flash HTML, PowerPoint, In-Design, Word, Quizmaker)
  • Develops and edits graphics & video utilized in all learning development using editing tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Snag It, etc.
  • Ensures training materials' content is of a high quality and is clear, accurate, consistent, and free of spelling and grammatical errors
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programs and makes recommendations accordingly
  • Work with 3rd party vendors when necessary to source additional resources or to develop alternative solutions
  • Communicate technical ideas to non-technical users (i.e., Pulse)
  • Reorganize/synthesize information to get a better approach to problems or tasks
(30%) Project management
  • Plan, schedule, and track projects, maintaining aggressive deadlines
  • Effectively and successfully manages multiple projects to achieve project goals and meet deadlines
  • Works collaboratively with office, regional and store level stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Provides input and recommendations and designs to Project Managers regarding all instructional design and development aspects of projects for the purposes of scheduling, resource planning, and process improvement
  • Strong background with effectively managing interactions with stakeholders, including meeting facilitations, expectation setting and on-going project correspondence
  • Manage external and internal vendors in creating learning components
  • Produce and direct training audio, video, and multimedia
